Typical applications for offices, IT companies and OEMs include logical access control to a PC or network, secure authentication for Business-to-Business and Business-to-Consumer applications and secure logon via email encryption.
With its EMV certification, the SCR331 is also suitable for banking related applications. The smart cards reader is ideal for integrating into systems of the gaming industry. Its square modular shape makes it suitable for integration into external systems such as in transportation related systems, e.g. for parking, ticketing, and toll-collection.
The SCR331 can also be integrated into larger OEM systems, both with or without casing as a PCB module.
