The ActivIdentity ActivID™ Card Management System Appliance (CMS Appliance) is the central component to manage the issuance and administration of smart-chip-enabled authentication devices. CMS allows for the rapid issuance, reissuance and revocation of smart-chip enabled credentials.
The CMS Appliance comes with pre-installed profiles to support a range of authentication device form factors and an embedded data base which is a fully integrated hardware security module (HSM) to secure the management of your user credentials. In addition, the CMS appliance has a local certificate authority to create digital certificates stored on the user smart card. With its user friendly wizard, the CMS Appliance enables rapid integration and can be installed in less than 30 minutes.
