LINK II. DISC ICE BLUE One Receiver and Two Transmitters

Disc Ice Blue is required to see more than Transmitter Key #1 in order for the protected PC to operate and unlock. For example, if a computer owner has issued to an employee a laptop with Disc Ice Blue protection, the owner provides the user with a user Disc Ice transmitter key and the PC will operate when it sees user transmitter key #1 within one meter as in the Green version. However, Disc Ice Blue can be configured so that the protected PC must always or intermittently see Transmitter key #2 , at the owners location. If an authorized user removes the computer from the authorized location and the computer does not see the “location” transmitter , the computer freezes even though it can see the tag of the authorized user. Transmitter Key #2 may be more than a meter away from the PC, for example, on the ceiling, but within range of the PC from very near to up to 15 meters away. The pictured USB cord is not essential and is a convenience option only. The Owner specifies at set up how often Transmitter Key #2 must be seen by the PC. The owner can give the user controlled freedom to use the PC at home, on travel etc but limit the amount of working time that the computer will operate. The goal is to prevent in house or out of house theft of the PC and unlimited use of the data on the PC.
