From the beginning, Envoy Data Corporation has provided industrial storage products and solutions to various market segments, including precision farming, data collecting, surveying, robotics and many more. Envoy Data’s product offering allows for Legacy design-in opportunities and integration with IT security.

Specializing in a niche market such as PCMCIA provided Envoy Data the opportunity to form unique partnerships with industry-leading manufacturers such as SanDisk, SCM Microsystems, Lexar Media, Centennial Technologies, and Smart Modular.

These unique relationships allow Envoy Data Corporation to supply customers with aggressive pricing on products. Being a stocking distributor, Envoy Data Corporation prides itself on being able to process and ship orders in a very timely manner, same day in most cases.

As new technologies emerged, Envoy Data was able to identify new growth opportunities. One of these new ventures was a need for an intelligent card. In 1999, when Smart Card technologies began emerging in the U.S., Envoy Data Corporation developed a new division called Smart Card Systems to accommodate its customers’ needs.

With the same basic business plan as the PCMCIA division, Smart Card Systems developed key relationships with strategic manufacturers in the Smart Card industry such as ActivIdentity, SCM Microsystems, Schlumberger, and Gemalto. Offering customers the same inside/outside sales support, full technical support staff, aggressive pricing and added professional services, Smart Card Systems became a key factor in the development of Smart Card technology in the U.S.

The Smart Card Systems division has further evolved into Envoy Data’s IT security division, which has become an integral part of Envoy Data’s business. Over the past few years, Envoy Data has become an industry-leading distributor of IT security solutions, providing the best products in encryption, network security and secure USB storage to address the needs of today’s ever-changing technology. Envoy Data’s IT security division serves many verticals, including government, healthcare, finance and education, to name a few.

In an effort to better support its customers' needs and to accommodate the growing e-commerce industry, Envoy Data Corporation remodeled its primary web site to incorporate both the PCMCIA PC Card products division with the Smart Card and IT Security divisions.
